Known as "The Ultimate Road Comic" for his willingness to perform on the road nearly 250 days a year every year, Chris Smith began his stand-up comedy career after graduating college where he had a successful comedy radio show from 1985-1987. Early in his stand-up career Chris earned a finalist spot in the National Lampoon Comedy Search contest and two separate Johnny Walker Comedy Competitions which opened the door for him to open for such comics as Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Jon Stewart, Drew Carey, Jeff Foxworthy, Howie Mandel, Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Richard Jeni, and Rodney Carrington among others.
